ZimParks recently extended the closing time for viewing the Victoria Falls from 6.00p.m. to 10.00p.m. All visitors will now be able to view the Falls at night.
Current opening and closing times for the Victoria Falls Rainforest are as follows:-
Summer: (1st September to 14th May) - Opens 06h00 and Closes 22h00
Winter: (15th May to 1st September) - Opens 06h30 and Closes 22h00
Wild Zambezi advises all visitors to NOT to walk between the town and the Victoria Falls Rainforest entrance gate at night, as this area is not fenced, and there are wild animals (including lions, buffalo and elephant) around. Take a hotel or tour operator transfer or a taxi to the entrance.
In addition to extending the viewing hours, a number of other activities have been introduced in the area to meet the demands of the growing numbers of tourists visiting the attraction.
Zimparks has introduced bush dinners in the evenings next to the statue of David Livingstone alongside the Falls.
Night drives have also been introduced in the Zambezi National Park and a picnic site has been introduced alongside the Zambezi River.

These tourism products have been added in Victoria Falls in an effort to generate more revenue, according to Zimparks spokesperson Tinashe Farawo.
