Wild Zambezi Campaign Director, Sally Wynn, with visitors to the stand at Sanganai
Wild Zambezi is proud to announce that it won a "Best Stand" award at Zimbabwe's Sanganai World Travel and Tourism Africa Fair held in Harare between 14th and 18th October 2009.
The judges liked our stand design which featured a simple Zambezi valley campsite, complete with campfire, tent, chairs, trunk, paraffin lamps and associated camping paraphernalia, and also scored us highly for "interaction with the public".
The Fair afforded us the opportunity to discuss tourism opportunities in the Kariba and Zambezi valley areas with buyers from the Southern African region, the UK, Germany, Belgium, China, Malaysia and Indonesia as well as with Zimbabwean agents and operators. We were also able to meet with several representatives from the international and regional press and conduct interviews for television, radio and the print media.
