Travel trade visitors to Southern Africa's international travel showcase, Indaba 2009, showed a huge surge of interest in Wild Zambezi's promotion of the Kariba and Zambezi areas at the annual Travel Fair held in Durban, South Africa in mid-May. The Wild Zambezi stand was inundated with enthusiastic inquiries from inbound agents, travel trade representatives and individuals from South Africa and all over the world.  They expressed delight that international travel warnings to Zimbabwe have now been lifted and that these magnificent places are now back on the travel map!  Interested visitors were referred to the brand new Wild Zambezi website www.wildzambezi.com which was ready and up-loaded in time for the Fair, and has attracted excellent and positive feedback.

Wild Zambezi thanks the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority for providing exhibition space on their Zimbabwe stand at Indaba 2009. This was an excellent promotional and networking opportunity, and hopefully the start of an upward trend in tourism interest to our wild areas.
