OUR ACTIVITIES
The cavernous Batoka Gorge, the mighty Zambezi River, the spread of trees that watch life unfold beneath them are as diverse as they are beautiful. With white-water rafting, adrenalin seekers can plummet through a natural rollercoaster of rapids that are powered by the force of the river cascading down the waterfall. The upper Zambezi is more family friendly and this tranquil section of the river can be explored on one of our cruises - either a lunchtime lazy cruise, a sundowner cruise that watches the sun slowly sink behind the horizon, or a moonlit dinner cruise aboard the beautiful double-decked vessel, Malachite. The canoeing safaris strike a balance between the calmness of the cruise, and the excitement of propelling yourself through the water and into untouched territory. Take yourself to the edge of the gorge, where the activities range from exciting to thrilling. Sail gently across the sky on the zip-line, with outstretched arms, or throw yourself into the open African air as you take on the gorge swing. The canopy tour is the ideal family friendly adventure, with just a streak of adrenalin whizzing through as groups zip among the trees that flow from the sides of the gorge.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE TOURS
Wild Horizons offers Tours of the Victoria Falls guided in Spanish and French. These tours are in the mornings only, departing from Victoria Falls hotels between 08h00 and 08h30 daily and lasting approximately two hours. Clients are accompanied through the Victoria Falls Rainforest by a full-time qualified Foreign Language Guide who will give a brief history of the Falls as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest. Note that this activity must be pre-booked. Guides speaking Italian and German can also be made available for an additional fee upon request and subject to availability.
