Zambezi Cruise & Safaris are adding to their existing fleet of cruiseboats on Lake Kariba with the addition of no less than four new vessels in the coming year!:-
The largest of these is the MV Zambezi Adventurer, due to launch in April 2019. This vessel is aptly named a “transcruiser” because it will incorporate transport, transfers and cruising.
This brand new 18-cabin vessel which will traverse Lake Kariba weekly over a 2-night cruise from Kariba to Binga and a 3-night cruise from Binga to Kariba, alternating weekly.
The vessel can travel with vehicles which is ideal for 4x4 adventurers and those who wish to travel by road independently. If no vehicles are booked, the vessel's 1st deck ‘vehicle area’ will be setup as an area for relaxation.
As well as giving Victoria Falls travellers an opportunity to experience a largely undiscovered area of Lake Kariba, one can soak up the stunning scenery whilst having the luxury of cruising the entire length of the lake at a leisurely pace.
All 18 full glass view cabins are en-suite and air-conditioned, with a large air-conditioned bar and dining/lounge area, plunge pool and various outdoor sundeck/game viewing areas.
The MV Zambezi Adventurer will be accompanied by tender boats for guided game viewing and fishing which are included in the cruise package along with meals and non-alcoholic beverages.
Sailing dates will be set later this year for 2019 departures
In addition, the company will be launching the following cruising boats in August 2018:-
Sovereign Cruiseboat - 10 air-conditioned, en-suite cabins (6 double and 4 twin) and a large dining room, lounge and bar area, with a pool and sun-deck.
MV Catalina Motoryacht - 5 air-conditioned cabins (four are staterooms with two double beds in each, and one is a double, with Pullman bunks). Air-conditioned lounge and open-air covered dining area with panoramic views. Upper deck has a swimming pool and sundeck with sun-loungers.
Nhingi Cruiseboat - 4-cabin-3-deck motor-yacht ideal for small groups of friends or families travelling together. Fully air-conditioned, with a lounge and four cabins (two en-suite, and two with separate bathrooms), pool and sundeck with sun-loungers.
